My Little Bits of Sunshine

Olisa and Ayla have been playing so nicely together and they really know how to make each other laugh. They bring such joy and wonderfulness into my days and I feel so blessed to be their mommy.

Tonight after dinner I made homemade cheese crackers and they were delicious. I added a bunch of homemade things I want to make this month and these crackers were another successful attempt at making something new. I also made laundry soap, engligh muffin bread, and delicious homemade peanut butter. I will try to post a picture of the peanut butter and laundry soap soon. These wonderful tiny pies were made for me by my dear husband who put some in the freezer for me to enjoy for mommy time. They are simply wonderful.

Houston water wall

Last month we went into the city to see the Houston water wall and really enjoyed our day. It was a beautiful day and the sound of the water falling and was amazing. When you walk close to the wall you can feel a refreshing mist settle upon you and see rainbows in the sunlight. I love going into the city and finding unique things to do and see and this has been my favorite so far. I would love to go back at night and see if they have lights on the wall.
